Initiatives by BVPY committee :

A certain number of additional fellowships are exclusively earmarked for the candidates belonging to economically backward families. To be eligible for these scholarships, it is necessary to produce a govt. authorised income statement. Additionally, if the need arises, scholarship committee reserves the right to visit the student at home and ascertain that details provided are genuine.
To encourage girls’ interest towards research and development, a certain number of additional fellowships are exclusively earmarked for the female candidates.

Note:

Scholarship funding is supported both by the BVPY foundation & Ministry Of Corporate Affairs.
Complete discipline and dedication towards the stated objective by the student is a necessary pre-condition for both availing and continuation of scholarship. In case of discontinuation of scholarship, foundation will bear no liability.
Scholarships are funded in conjunction with participating institutions, no disbursement is possible unless student takes admission into one of the participating institutions. Foundation is working hard to ensure that there are enough institution of high quality so that students can take admission in any institution of their choice across the width of breadth of the country.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Fellowship are only awarded after successful completion of 3 STEP evaluation system

STEP-1: Online application & scholarship test. Students who successfully complete step-1, will be eligible to participate in step-2.
STEP-2: Offline interview assessment test. Test will conducted across 52 locations in the country in 2025. The interview will conducted with one of the scholarship committee member. The exact dates will be announced on official website and social media channels. Students who successfully complete step-2, will be eligible to get pre-registration for seats in step-3.
STEP-3: Personal documents should be submitted for service tax confirmation.
